Miami OHWOW Art Gallery has just opened the doors to its first book club and it’s truly a reader’s nirvana. Located in New York’s Greenwich Village, the micro store resides underneath an historic brownstone building at 227 Waverley Place and features striking decor designed to resemble a classic black and white, pre-war New York City bathroom. Architecture At Large’s Rafael de Cardenas used mirrors, sharp zig-zag lines, fluorescent lights and plenty of black trim to enlarge the 150 square-foot retail space.
