First there was beer infused ice cream, now comes something even, errr, hotter. Jalapeño flavored ice cream, available from the Tabasco Country Store, is ‘perfect for chili heads’ or anyone just wanting to spice up their night.

Created by Manhattanite Ronne Fisher and her two daughters, Chozen is an all-natural ice cream inspired by the sweets and desserts of their favorite Jewish holidays. There’s cinnamon ice cream with homemade raisin walnut rugelach, or there’s the Matzoh Crunch: vanilla ice cream with chocolate and caramel coated matzoh sprinkled with kosher salt. Coconut macaroon, chocolate babka, and apples and honey are also on Chozen’s list of artisanal ice cream sweets. All ingredients are sourced from local dairy farms and ‘authentic Brooklyn bakers’. Now, that’s kosher.
