Keyboard Decal Stickers

First there were iPod covers, then iPhone covers. Now there’s Macbook keyboard covers. And not just any covers, either. Swirling, colourful, impressive looking covers that will make your fingers do a double take each time they pound a key. Each keyboard sticker is made with a special Avery MPI material. Fun.

New York car space being sold for 1 million dollars

Only in New York? We think so, though those in Tokyo may disagree. According to that reputable news source, the UK’s Daily Mail, a ‘developer of a luxury condo building in New York City’s Greenwich Village has listed a parking spot for $1 million’. That’s right. And the spot only holds one car, measuring in at an underwhelming 12 feet by 23 feet. So is it even semi-reasonable to ask this much? The New York Post thinks not. They’ve determined that ‘driver would have to rack up a $115 illegal parking ticket every day for 24 years before reaching the cost of this luxury garage’. Ah, the joys of deep pockets.

Seems this Etsy shop and the several other retailers selling keyboard decals are belly-up. I would love to try my hand at making custom keyboard decals, but I don’t know where to find printable Avery MPI… any ideas? Message me at gmail, username shinywen.

What would you be prepared to do for $5? I mean, really? Would you sell your first born, dance with a stranger? Yeah? Well, now you can prove it. The Fiverr site is ‘the place for people to share things they’re willing to do for $5′. Err, five dollar Skype clarinet lesson, anyone?

There’s not much one can say about an artist who has recorded more than 400 albums — even if you manage to listen to a large portion them, there’s a good chance you’ve missed something. Good thing, as far as I know, R. Stevie Moore is the only person who has released that many records (Daniel Johnston may come close), many of which were cassette-only or printed in limited numbers. Virtually unknown for decades, the obsessive music geekdom that has reached a fever pitch as this generation of fans has allowed Moore to keep his relentless flow of Zappa-esque weirdness, power-chord pop, tongue-in-cheek ballads, satirical new wave, and whatever else we’ve most certainly missed, gushing out into the universe.
