Sin Nombre: gang culture in Central America

Sin Nombre is a beautiful film depicting the epic quest of two people trying to flee the brutal and gang-controlled world of central America. The film offers a shocking glimpse into the brutally violent world of the Mara Salvatrucha gang, while contrasting this with the stunning terrain and colours of the beautiful land they travel through. And ultimately it’s a film about life, and what we make of it, and how we redeem ourselves from our past.
