Gullible dates back to 2004 with useless facts to fill your sponge head with. Now you can be that annoying person at a party that starts dropping information that no one wants to hear, or in some cases want to hear, but don’t care about. Did you know nearly one-third of burn-related hospital visits by males aged 13 to 20 are due to an attempt at setting their flatulence alight. Amazing statistics, and so typical. Oh, and 61 percent of Swedes cannot describe the difference between Astronomy and Astrology. But who cares, 90 percent of Swedes are hot so they don’t need to be smart.

Old gold! Lasagna Cat is one of those sites that never leaves you. I bookmarked this site and not just to my bookmarks folder, it went straight onto my bookmarks tool bar, along with my everyday bookmarks like, Internet banking, Email, Facebook and GOOP (that’s a joke). In the wake of America’s historic presidential election, nearly two years of divisive campaigning, and eight years of a controversial administration, the nation is in desperate need of healing. Beloved Internet personality Ze Frank started From 58 to 42 with Love where contributors use their webcams to post messages reaching out to the side of the country that didn’t vote for their guy. It’s saccharine at times, and there are one or two borderline nasty posts from people that don’t seem completely onboard with the project’s objective. But overall, it’s pretty effective and moving. I’ll admit I needed a couple tissues while reading it.
My friend Lenka Kripac, formerly of Aussie group Decoder Ring, now flying solo, has just released her debut single — The Show — and it’s as catchy a slice of pop hedonism as you’re ever going to hear. Be warned: one listen and you may never shake the melody.
