Now this is clever marketing. When Jean Paul Gaultier’s Le Male fragrance first went on sale last year, each purchase of the iconic bottle came with a free USB stick version which slowly emitted the rather fragrant fragrance whilst you worked. Perhaps not the best idea for those in the construction industry.

Jason Hernandez draws from medieval religious art and classical European images to create grotesque yet vibrant images laden with contemporary social criticism. The punk-metalhead in me can’t get enough of this stuff.
My first impulse, when I’m staring at a blank canvas or sheet of paper, is always to draw or paint a face. I think this is pretty elemental, since faces are pretty much how we primarily interface with each other. Yellow Fever are a great duo from Austin that harkens back to the girl-fronted indie bands of the 90s. At times Breeders-ish, at others referencing garag-y sounds from other eras, their simple and heartfelt songs remind us of why we all thought mismatched Converse and unkempt androgyny was so cool in the first place.
