The brainchild of Darren Solomon of electronica group Science for Girls, Bb 2.0 is a ‘collaborative music and spoken word project developed with contributions from users. The videos can be played simultaneously, the soundtracks will work together, and the mix can be adjusted with the individual volume sliders’.

The greatest ideas in the 2.0 environment are also usually the simplest. Darren Solomon of electronic band Science for Girls had twenty musicians each film themselves playing a track in the key of Bb, which they then posted on YouTube. Solomon embedded all the videos on one page, and users can play them simultaneously to create a beautiful, fully-rendered piece of music.

Tattoo artist sued by ex-girlfriend for obscene design
Oh boy, this is so bizarre it could only be true. Apparently a Dayton, Ohio, tattoo artist has been slapped with a $100,000 lawsuit by his ex-girlfriend for tattooing an image of, erm, excrement with flies on her back rather than the scene from Narnia that she had requested. The reason? He’d recently found out that she had been cheating on him with one of his buddies. Damn! And here we were thinking this was the hot new look for trailer park trash crowd.

A survey of two thousand Britons has revealed the country’s perfect pet. Max is a bizarre hybrid that is part cat, part dog, part rabbit and part horse. Shortstack are a Washington DC band that not many people know about outside of the the city. They recently released an EP of covers with some sweet choices on there — The Kinks, Captain Beefheart, and The Pupils, among others. Once again a band takes different styles, sounds, and time periods, and owns it like an extra finger.
