First there was the Beatles cartoon series, now there’s this. Boy band, juvenile hysteria, eruptive hormones like a volcano in spring time. If we talk about tearing magazines and designing collages in folders and wardrobes, we talk about the fanaticism and crying of a young female fan. New Kids On The Block were one of the forerunners of this manufactured phenomenon.

Five teenagers with personalities who covered all the possible areas of the market: Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Word, and the brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight. These kids from Boston conquered the stages, the charts and the wallets. In contrast, this 2D animation did not work out, almost emulating a similar aesthetic to the real band, but without any success. These performers bit the dust in terms of animation.
