Ellie Goulding’s Fighter Plane
by London-based Ellie Goulding is one of my favourite music artists of the year. She won me over with Guns + Horses, and now the B-side to her latest single, Under The Sheets, seems to be having the same effect on me. Fighter Plane is a magical, sentimental track full of silky vocals and relaxing synths. If you dig Bjork and Imogen Heap et al. then you’ll be pleased with Goulding’s angelic ballad.

All proceed of the doll’s auction will benefit Project Angel Food, an organisation that works to provide food for people affected by HIV and AIDS.

In her photo series Welcome To Paradise, Rivkah Young stages scenes to capture what we perceive by the term Paradise: ‘In order to declare this, humans create special places, at theme parks, shopping malls and urban residential complexes. Visions of something different — a tropical rain forest or African Savannah — are also created at the zoo or at water parks. The look of an urban place becomes a scenery-like projection of our visions’.

I don’t intend on tempting any grape cravings which some borderline AAs may be experiencing, but everyone deserves some red after a long day.
