Bad Fairground Art: an exclusive compilation
In the tradition of the Fakes Project, which is a compilation of street art in squares, comes this series of Art in Fairs at Flickr, showing fairs in the United States: from Texas to Oregon, Miami to North Carolina. The highlights are an old Harry Potter, disproportionate portraits, a Robbie Williams and a Tom Jones who do not look like the originals, and so on. You can find everything at these kind of fairs, but you won’t find good taste.

Its main intention is to hide and keep ringing untl you wake up. This tinny alarm clock has two all-terrain wheels that can endure all surfaces.
Only in Japan? Perhaps. The Japanese Bug Fights website promotes real bug fights, with combatants such as scorpions, spiders, mantis and giant beetles. The rules are simple: only two bugs must be engaged in the fight. External weapons are not allowed and the fight lasts till one of opponents dies. Hmmm. Read more

It goes without saying that Hip Hop has taken a few very low hits in the past decade. Thanks to the likes of 50 Cent and company, it accounts for around 40% of all music sold in America. It’s a huge industry. So where does that leave Hip Hop artists doing something a bit different? Lord T and Eloise wear wacky outfits, make crazy music and bring a whole lot of fun back into Hip Hop.
