Forget Me Not scarves and turbans
Forget Me Not is a series of Art mode digital prints on scarves and turbans by French designer Coco. All designs are based exclusively on her personal compositions and all elements have been hand-drawn. Her approach mixes several techniques, combining old-school processes such as painting and hand-drawing with digital techniques. And she balances a mix of visual restraint and minimalism with a more leftfield and pop-friendly approach.

Outkast got it wrong. Apparently you shouldn’t actually shake it like a Polaroid picture because rapid movement during development may damage the image. Philippe Roucou on the other hand, is definitely getting it right. This French bag designer has recently released a limited edition series of 100 percent silk scarves. Each piece features an image from an anonymous Polaroid that has been found by happenstance. Although these scarves come with a hefty price tag, you can rest assured that shaking it in one of these, won’t damage the image!

Banksy has struck again, this time offending the Catholic Church with a bold artwork that critiques their stance on ongoing child abuse scandals. Banksy has taken a replica of a bust of an eighteenth century member of the Catholic hierarchy and added multi-coloured tiles to the face — pixelating it — as a comment on what he considers to be the Church’s cover-up. ‘I’m never sure who deserves to be put on a pedestal or crushed under one’, Banksy noted. Tattoo artist sued by ex-girlfriend for obscene design
Oh boy, this is so bizarre it could only be true. Apparently a Dayton, Ohio, tattoo artist has been slapped with a $100,000 lawsuit by his ex-girlfriend for tattooing an image of, erm, excrement with flies on her back rather than the scene from Narnia that she had requested. The reason? He’d recently found out that she had been cheating on him with one of his buddies. Damn! And here we were thinking this was the hot new look for trailer park trash crowd.

Peter Nalitch is Russia’s answer to Manu Chao. His video for the song Guitar is a Borat-like jab at low-budget, post-Soviet awkwardness — absurd English lyrics, Eurotrash earnestness, bad wipes, and cheap subtitles. Pickle Hut was designed by architect Dan Hoffman and The Cranbrook Architectural Office. It is a place where the children of Brookside School can play, recite stories and dream. Set up for children to enter into this mysterious U-Shape building, the Pickle Hut offers up a little hub of sanctuary in order to let their imaginations fly.
