Following the completion of his studies at the Mulhouse School of Art and the School of Decorative Arts of Strasbourg, Michel Gantner became the artistic director of an advertising agency. During 1998 he dedicated himself exclusively to photography, working with Nina Ricci, Kenzo, Cartier, Caron, Hermes, Annayake, and Air France. His nature photography, an area he has worked on for more than a decade, has been the subject of numerous exhibitions, advertising campaigns and publications around the world notably in Japan. These photos are from his series Jour & Nuit.
