I am sure you think its safe, but actually it is really bad for their skin and hair, it dries the skin out and damages the hair. You ought to know better with white haired dogs. I see this as animal abuse. I am not trying to make you feel bad, I would like to just point out if the dog had a choice they would say, " please stop". Just groom the dog and keep them happy and healthy. This reminds me of when people dress their toddlers up as a woman and parade them on stage, its just wrong. I don't agree with showing dogs either, that is abuse as well. Ask yourself how many times do you yell at the dog to be still or do you tie them up in a standing position for hours and hours.
