The Hi-Rise Bread Company
Once the stomping ground of Julia Child, Cambridge, Massachusetts just outside of Boston, is replete with gastronomic delights. Here, diners sit at long, wooden communal tables — often elbow to elbow — while bakers scurry around the half open kitchen, pulling steaming breads and muffins out massive steel ovens. Whether you go for the hearty oatmeal with cranberries and walnuts or the infamous egg salad sandwiches or vanilla loaf, you’re these scrumptious New England treats are sure to satisfy. This is a simple, fun interactive website that lets you play and construct your own models that follow simple physical laws. It’s very immediate and fun to start throwing the models around and enjoy hours of wasted time.
The coolest band in Indonesia? I think so. White Shoes & The Couples Company describe themselves as a small band that is ‘influenced by Indonesian movie soundtracks from the 70s and inspired by the acoustic spirit of 1930′s classic jazz musicians’. But I like to think of them as carrying the torch for artists like Benny Goodman, Tahiti 80, and The Cardigans, all at the same time.
