Canned Hamburgers
The hamburger, that icon of fast food, has evolved in Germany to the point where it is now sold in cans. Canned Hamburgers were created by the company Trekking Mahlzeiten and are aimed at those who enjoy the outdoor life. According to the instructions on the can, you must boil the can for a few minutes, take the lid off, and then enjoy an authentic cheeseburger with ketchup and gherkins that contains just 257 calories per 100 grams.

Only in Japan? Perhaps. The Japanese Bug Fights website promotes real bug fights, with combatants such as scorpions, spiders, mantis and giant beetles. The rules are simple: only two bugs must be engaged in the fight. External weapons are not allowed and the fight lasts till one of opponents dies. Hmmm. Read more
