Dada Wine
When two exceptional New Zealand-based wine makers — one Kiwi, one French — set out to free themselves of professional conventions and pair up for a personal project, the result was an unexpected, artisanal creation: Dada Wine. Reflecting famous artistic and literary movements based on irrationality and the negation of traditional values, Dada Wine echoes the obsessive attitude of the winemakers and the wine itself.
A blended, dry white wine, Dada links the old and new world in its quest for a new way of thinking, feeling, and knowing. It’s a sensual experience that combines lightness and purity, depth and substance. So too is the design, which was likewise inspired by the Dada movement and the winemaker’s personal taste. A unique flavor with surprising characteristics and equally creative aesthetics, Dada Wine is a top end boutique package that’s as passionately produced as the movement that inspired it.

Only the French can get away with the sort of effete, gothic electropop that Position Parallele make. It’s hard to tell if the duo’s deadpan is supposed to be funny or not, but it’s pretty hard not to pull some angular, jerky dance moves when listening to their New Order-ish tunes.
