Cyndi Safstrom is a sculptor who immortalizes your face in a doll. To start with, all you need is a 360 degree paneode video of your face, which is what Cindy works from to create your mini-me. Then you can immortalize yourself as a vinyl action figure dressed in the clothing of your choice.

Only in Japan? Perhaps. The Japanese Bug Fights website promotes real bug fights, with combatants such as scorpions, spiders, mantis and giant beetles. Having originally sprung from the Shaky Isles (otherwise known as New Zealand), I can appreciate the humour in the New Zealand cartoon series, Bro Town, the first homegrown animated series to screen during local prime time.
