2009 Diesel:U:Music winners, Heartsrevolution and The Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt! will perform live on July 30th at New York’s Webster Hall alongside an all-star line-up featuring Theophilus London, Passion Pit [above], Cobra Starship, and The Roots. Diesel fans will have a chance to attend this event with a limited amount of invitations to be given away at participating Diesel stores.
To get your hot little hands on a pass, show up to one of these participating stores in a pair of Diesel jeans to qualify:
July 25th and 26th at Lexington at 60th Street at 5pm
July 27th and 28th 5th Avenue and 54th Street at 5pm
July 29th and 30th Union Square at 14th Street at 5pm

Heavy storms of rock and roll mixed with indie winds and intense electro sun rays smashed Grant Park. More than 250,000 people were reported wearing wristbands, fashionista hats, sunglasses and shorts. They danced for three days, non-stop. Filmmaker creates LEGO stop motion to propose to girlfriend
Now, this is one for the ages: back in 2010, Atlanta film-maker Walter Thompson created a jaw-dropping LEGO stop motion to propose to Nealey Dozier, his girlfriend of four years. The video took 22 hours of shooting and some 2,600 pictures to splice together, a small sacrifice to pay for years of happiness together. Right? Right! Oh, and she said yes. Bonus.

Despite their jarring name, British noise duo Fuck Buttons are surprisingly palatable. The band’s long, droning tracks are infused with sweet twinkles and sunny synth, but dark shards of ominous guitar overdrive and distorted screeches pierce the shimmering surface just when you’re ready to zone out. Danceable beats occasionally draw everything back together, creating a stormy, pulsing, and disorienting atmosphere.
