Virginia-based photographer Jon Phillip Sheridan shot a beautiful series called Residual. Of the work, he says: ‘Behind highway motels and apartment complexes, primordial forces seek to reclaim even the most developed areas at night. Entropy is at work and disorder strains to break through. This is the focus of all my work — my curiosity in exploring this shifting awareness of space and the human patterns that mark it’.

Skateboarding.3D book giveaway

Michael Massaia Is a fine art photographer and printmaker whose work focuses on New York City, and New Jersey life and landscape. Massaia specializes in large format black and white photography and large format Platinum/Palladium printing. All of his images are true ‘one shot’ candid scenes that have been pushed to their limit via film developing and printing techniques to reveal the true way each moment was felt. Brooklyn-based artist Leah Beeferman draws inspiration from architecture, maps, and mechanical diagrams for her geometric, almost-non-representational drawings. Her images seem ancient and timeless, hinting at traditional Asian scroll paintings, folk art, and cave paintings. Yet through her installations and projections, they cast new light on the contemporary spaces in which they exist. Read more

Pre-eminent Norwegian Viking metal band Enslaved has evolved over the years from a straight-forward black metal band into a moody, post-rock outfit without completely abandoning their roots. Their last few albums have seen a shift towards English lyrics, sweeping and majestic instrumentals, and diverse influences — everything from Pink Floyd and ’70s prog and psych rock to ‘80s goth and shoegaze pop.
