House Shoes
As winter approaches in Australia, now’s the time to look after your paws, which is exactly what we’ve been doing with our new pairs of House Shoes. These comfy soft-soled shoes mould to the shape of your foot, wrapping them in warmth, comfort and lots of recycled material. Australian-designed and produced, the House Shoe’s only flaw is you can’t wear them down to your local shops. And yes, we tried.

Let them sing it for you is a web widget that allows you to type in a sentence which is then played back using the same words culled from a library of popular songs. For instance if you type the word “I” it will play Chris Isaak singing that word in the song Wicked Games. If a word cannot be found, you can enter a song which contains the missing word and expand the library.
Micah P. Hinson is like every rustic, broken down, and pieced back together country great that’s ever been. Only hipper and slightly less sombre. This track, Diggin’ A Grave, is a button-up hoe down with a classic pop chorus and a jangly banjo accompaniment. Yup, some folk have all the fun.
I’ve yet to find out what they put in the water in Germany that generates such a consistently rich stream of good electronica. Carrying the torch at the moment is Hendrik Weber, aka Pantha du Prince, whose early 2007 release, This Bliss, landed on my doormat with a deep bass-kick and hasn’t left my iPod since. Read more
