Australian company Knog makes slick bicycle accessories that are distributed to over 47 countries and have won several awards. Especially popular are the frog bike light series, with sales of over two-million units. With a range of products aimed at the urban cyclist, Knog has been established five years and is continually creating interesting new products and designs. They also sell bike helmets, luggage, tools and patches to seal tyre punctures.

Kevin’s just not right, and that’s obvious from the outset as mother Eva battles to bring him up in a world where the onus is put squarely back on the mother. Sometimes seeing a movie without any knowledge of what it’s about makes for an incredible experience. I encountered a similar effect when viewing David Adamo’s new show at Untitled. I had heard his name before, and maybe seen an image or two of his work, but I definitely wasn’t prepared for this full-fledged attack on the gallery’s space. Read more

If you come to Berlin, then I recommend this little shop, Dederon Design, specializing in stuff manufactured in, or inspired by, the former GDR (East Germany). Everything from ice cream cups to LP racks and toys. The woman running the shop even designs bags in some weird GDR-invented plastic material.
This is a friend of mines’ blog. Her name is Nirrimi. She takes really amazing photos, and she makes great little films, too. I did the music score for one a while back. Her blog is like a novel that just plays out slowly but happens in real life. Well worth reading if you’re into photography and good, honest writing. Read more

My friend Josh Van Horne, a local Baltimore artist, did this amazing mural in our neighborhood that depicts the history of this warehouse-laden area.
Pitched as ‘Ulterior Motives in Contemporary Art’, Disorder Disorder is running until November 14 at Penrith Regional Gallery. It’ll be well worth the trip out west of Sydney: the Australian, Japanese, American and European cast reads like a warriors of street art roundup and includes Mike Giant, Ed Templeton, Anthony Lister [artwork above], Ozzie Wright, and Jonathan Zawada.
