So one day, just maybe, I’ll be in a position to buy one of these rather nifty looking devices known as the Segway P.U.M.A [Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility]. These vehicles apparently ‘value less over more; takes up less space; and uses less energy’, therefore creating fewer emissions during production and operation’. Sure beats taking yellow cabs around town.

Filmmaker creates LEGO stop motion to propose to girlfriend
Now, this is one for the ages: back in 2010, Atlanta film-maker Walter Thompson created a jaw-dropping LEGO stop motion to propose to Nealey Dozier, his girlfriend of four years. The video took 22 hours of shooting and some 2,600 pictures to splice together, a small sacrifice to pay for years of happiness together. Right? Right! Oh, and she said yes. Bonus.

If anybody’s seen the shots of the way a Camry at 30 mph demolishes a Fit or a Smartcar in a head-on, you can imagine what a Yellow Crown Vic will do a Segway. And what a cab does to a Segway, a Segway will do to a pedestrian.
It’s an absurd invention. Sure, it’ll save on energy costs, but the hospital bills will be through the roof.
