Forbes magazine just posted this awesome interactive map that shows the migration patterns of Americans based on IRS data from 2008.

Sometimes we need an ad to remind us of what’s important. Normal is beautiful. Keep our oceans alive. Vote. Be more fearless. The Whitehouse Post is an international post-production company whose projects are damn fine. In fact, they are the scary mix of wit and aesthetics that makes any message convincing. Long live Coca-Cola.

WE'RE TRAVELLING TO

Melbournes laneways are cluttered with themed, designer bars. The challenge seems to be which is the most hip, funky and individual bar. Step in Section 8, an old inner city carpark furbished with warehouse pallets, patio heaters and a couple of freight containers, converted to serve you drinks. The vibe is fittingly low-key, with background music played at a reasonable level, frequently changing decor, and a variety of options to quench your thirst. It’s casual, fun and simple. I stumbled upon this cool street style blog that shows original and edgy people on the streets of Helsinki. Punk, Goth, Harajuku, Pin-up or retro, the people featured here have a unique sense of style. Many of the clothes are modified or created by the owners to fit their personalities and each photo has its own description written by the person in the picture.

Man, I remember shaking my tail to Come on Eileen many moons ago — when rat-tails were a right of passage and Molly Ringwald held both the lock and the key to my tiny pitter pattering heart.
