Gregory Euclide’s mixed media artwork
Gregory Euclide uses paper as a canvas through which to represent the ‘interstice of nature and humanity’. This piece above is made from acrylic, bubble wrap, foam, milkweed, pencil, pine cone, plastic, resin, satin ribbon, styrofoam, wax, and wood. His work will be exhibited as a part of the SCOPE Art Fair in New York this week.

Of his latest series, he says: ‘My work explores the way we experience nature and how this is tied to the cultural practice of constructing landscapes as idealized images. I love this track by London based rock group, Scanners, which is off their latest album, Submarine. Having toured with acts such as The Horrors, The Wedding Present, The Charlatans, Electric Six, and Juliette & The Licks, Scanners could well blow up in 2010. Figuratively speaking, not literally.
