Copenhagen carrier, for all small pups

In my next life, if I’m not lost somewhere in a Daft Punk anime, then I want to be carried around in one of these bags from Dogs Department. The Copenhagen bag comes with a canvas striped body and leather details, and it can be unzipped so your pup can stand or lay down in the carrier.

Vibrant, colourful photos of New York in 1971

We love the voyeuristic thrill of these photos by Gentle Giant that ran on the Retronaut website and reveal a vibrant, thriving, bustling New York in 1971 that looks vaguely similar to the New York that I experienced between 2006 and 2011. His psychedelic sci-fi doodles are explosions of colour, texture and pattern. There is no focal point in many of his drawings, so your eyes are left wandering across the landscape of the page. His website is a feast for the visual culture voyeur. Read more

Our friends over at Sex In Art recently posted the work of Japanese artist Aya Kato. Says Justin, the founder of the site: ‘I have this folder on my desktop titled Cool Shiat. It’s where I save all the inspirational images I find on the net. I’ve just finished filling it up with Aya Kato’s amazing images. Argh wow. Wow, wow, wow. I won’t say anymore. Just check her work out for yourself’. Read more

I adore the band Health and am left fascinated by this glamorously bouncy We Are Water remix by Canadian duo Azari & III, who have taken it to outer house-space. It’s pure 80s late night disco at its finest. Ghost Buster meets Short Circuit, anyone?
