Working out of Los Angeles, artist Josh Cochran creates amazing illustrations with a well-developed eye for detail and colour. He grew up in Taiwan, spending most of his time indoors, drawing fantastic creatures and comic book characters. Throughout grade school, he kept on drawing, resulting in a profitable career-clients including The New York Times Magazine, MTV, Nike and Target. Skeletonbreath pound out some pretty raging post-punk anthems with a violin taking the lead rather than a vocalist. The trio can get surprisingly loud, despite frontman Robert Pycior’s classically trained virtuosity.

There’s something quite captivating about the muted tones and soft textures of Anna Fraser’s photographs. The Australian designer has a very precise sense of framing, which is reflected in the slightly insidery, but beautifully balanced perspective that her work provides on places and scenery that only few people ever get to experience. By her own admission, Fraser ‘prefers things that are not usually very fashionable. Like beige, lots of beige and maybe a bit of taupe’. We think she might be onto something. Read more
Micah P. Hinson is like every rustic, broken down, and pieced back together country great that’s ever been. Only hipper and slightly less sombre. This track, Diggin’ A Grave, is a button-up hoe down with a classic pop chorus and a jangly banjo accompaniment. Yup, some folk have all the fun.

The first image reminds me of the Zentradi cohabiting with humans in the Macross anime. Zentradi dude working on the sail/net/whatever even has blue skin.
