How has it taken me this long to get around to writing about the wonderful Tomby? He is the pixel master, with a sense of colour, composition, and narrative to die for. And in case you might be wondering, Tomby and Emily Eibel, the folksy stitching maestro, are one and the same! It’s quite amazing that one individual can manage to so thoroughly change gears on a regular basis and keep cranking out such inspiring, creative work.

The pan flutes can get a little much, but I still really like Mariee Sioux debut studio album Faces in the Rocks. I’m hoping she has a new album in the works. Listen to her cover of the Cure’s Love Song below.
