The delicate beauty she captures, which is so tender and still, is a nice thing to pontificate over a rich coffee and a sense of quiet introspection. ‘Brennan shoots mainly with a digital SLR camera, but also enjoys using vintage film cameras and experimenting with different techniques. She believes that the essence of a scene is often captured best by photographing the details. Her work evokes her love of natural New England, her awareness of the environment, and her passion to create’.

Ynki and her magical and intricate world of imagination is the creation of Berlin-based artist, Zoe Keogh, whose pastels and brightly coloured love injected into her artworks is such a joy. She draws, scratches, prints, inks, and presses, creating delicate delights, which were on display as part of her first solo show at Keith and Lotti in Perth, Australia, earlier this year. Keogh has also exhibited in London, New York and Paris and is working on an intriguing seven sins concept.
I’ve yet to find out what they put in the water in Germany that generates such a consistently rich stream of good electronica. Carrying the torch at the moment is Hendrik Weber, aka Pantha du Prince, whose early 2007 release, This Bliss, landed on my doormat with a deep bass-kick and hasn’t left my iPod since. Read more
