Seldom do you get a batch of the world’s top artists grouped in one exhibition in an environment that at first glance, is far from accommodating for their work. But the British Musuem in London has done it, and done it well. Littered amongst the ancient Egyptian tombs and Greek plinths are pieces of work by modern giants Damien Hirst, Ron Muek, Anthony Gormley, and more. It’s a real treasure hunt of an experience but is striking to see classics of ancient and contemporary sculpture side by side perhaps for the first time.
