Excuse us Mr Shepard Fairey, but my friend, illustrator and designer Felix Sockwell, just came up with this fake Obey-style OBEYMA sticker, which I think is pure genius. It’s already on my refrigerator. You can see more of Felix’s work at his website.

Yes, stickers! Stickers of any kind! As a small boy, I was never happy with how school books, journals, or sketch pads looked. I always found it so difficult and frustrating to find anything that represented me. So my answer was to completely cover everything in stickers. To this day, everything around that isn’t tied down is plastered with stickers of every size and color. I like the sticker’s ability to let me express myself in my own way and I find that they have opened doors to conversations with that hottie next to me.

I saw these W faces stuck onto the movie poster of W on the Upper West Side of New York. They’re so cool looking, I just had to take a photo.

Dear Japan art event in New York
Come out to a gallery in Soho, New York, on Saturday afternoon and purchase art for your home for a good cause. The one evening event Dear Japan has been organized by a group of Japanese artists who live in New York. It features 170 illustrators and fine artists, and all the works are $200 or under. Julie Verhoeven has covered the fashion industry as a designer, illustrator, creative director and tutor. Everything she creates is amazing, but it’s her illustrations for different editorials that I find to be the most impressive! Ranging from the abstract to cartoon, her varied style is as creative as it is unique.
If you like toys, you’ll love the work of Hiroshi Yoshii, one of the most acclaimed digital artists in Japan. Alongside his 3D animation work, he makes amazing toys. They either put a huge smile on my face or crack me up. They are cute, wacky and clever. I love them. Read more
I don’t get Flight of The Concords. I just don’t find it funny. I also don’t get most comedy these days. It’s so derivative and clichéd. Everyone wants the same laughs. I like comedy that pushes the boundaries in strange ways. Fonejack is one underground unit that have had me rolling around on the floor with their real life skits. Read more

This beautiful black and white art periodical Color Ink Book has been designed so that you can add splashes of color to any of the pages that catch your eye. Using Kyoko Hashimoto’s popular design, these acrylic earrings are made with unique hand formed sterling silver sleepers that make them light enough for everyday wear. Part of Kyoko’s collection, I Blame the Uni, (pronounced ‘oo-nee’, the Japanese name for sea urchin) and inspired by her experiences in the underground club scene of Tokyo.
