Web design can be kinda tricky and expensive. Hell, we should know: it took us ages to get this current design for Lost At E Minor together. And costs? Our mate Uge from Aquabumps reckons he needed a second mortgage to fund his latest redesign indulgence. There’s no two ways about it – web design costs can cripple a venture, so we thought we’d give a shout out to Andy Howard’s latest project. The third arm in the Lost At E Minor triumvirate has just launched a web design studio with a focus on design, usability and affordability. What? Websites you can afford? You bet. Oh boy! Crimea X is the coming together of two offbeat, disparate characters, DJ Rocca (Ajello, Super Sonic Lovers, Maffia Sound System) and Jukka Reverberi from 90s Italian glam cult rockers, Giardini di Mirò, who have often have been compared with the sound of Mogwai, Arab Strap, and Godspeed You! They’re both graduates of the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, majoring in Industrial Design and Sculpture respectively, and have been long time collaborators both musically and visually.
