My name is Max Johnson, a Namibian living in Tsumeb, Namibia. I have read your articles but was struck by your name. 34 years ago, I attended a Roman Catholic High School, Dobra, near Windhoek in Namibia.
I had a friend, Wendelinus Amweero, who moved with me to a university , Universitry of Western Cape, in South Africa in the late 70s. During this apartheid days we had to return to Namibia because of the struggle that was waged by our comrades in South Africa and which affected our stay at the university. We had to leave the university. For 28 years I haven’t heard or seen my friend.
