Shen Wei’s Almost Naked series
In my Personal Vision class at the International Center of Photography, one of our first assignments was to photograph a classmate naked. I was paired up with a guy who wasn’t keen on the assignment (he ended up backing out due to moral issues), and the opportunity to photograph a stranger in the nude is yet to come up again. Yet! 30 story hotel in China built in just 15 days
The T30 can not only pride itself in being a five-star hotel, but also the hotel that took 15 days to be constructed from ground up. While its lines are plain and conventional, a 9.0 magnitude resistant building that employs the use of state of the art air filtration technology and sustainable building features in 15 days? The one evening event Dear Japan has been organized by a group of Japanese artists who live in New York. It features 170 illustrators and fine artists, and all the works are $200 or under.
