Gnarls Barkley limited edition posters
Clear some wallspace. We have three limited edition posters from a recent Gnarls Barkley show to give away to Lost At E Minor readers. Thanks to our friends over at Cornerstone, one of these funky looking posters could be hanging between your collector’s edition John Lennon print and your Grade Six family portrait. Just leave a note under the post saying why you really want one (well, ‘hell yea!’) and we’ll announce the winners Tuesday morning New York time.

Dee Lite’s Groove Is In The Heart (retro throwdown)
At the risk of sounding like a broken (vinyl) record, they just don’t make em’ like they used to. Rhiannon, Britney and co, the superstars (for better or for worse, with a strong lean towards the latter) of today, couldn’t hold a torch to the dancing divas of yesteryear, as this funkadelic clip from New York group Dee Lite proves.

They’re being super hyped, based on just four demo songs, but it’s easy to see why. With their melodic electronic pop shimmering in all the right places and an uber-hip band image, New York three-piece, Brahms, are set to explode — in a good way — in the latter half of 2010. They’re already well on the way, having opened for acts such as Passion Pit and Lemonade. [Listen to the Brahms song, Brought It Out]

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour tour the US
Copenhagen group, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, will be crossing the Atlantic this March for their first US tour of the year, blasting out their unique fusion of happy soul and kaleidoscopic pop. The tour will kick off at Philadelphia’s Kung Fu Necktie, followed by stops in DC, NYC, San Diego, LA, San Francisco, and band SXSW. We have their song, The Sun Ain’t Shining No More [listen below], available for free download in our Music Download section.

Star Wars Uncut: a fully crowdsourced version of Episode IV
The project of creative technologist, Casey Pugh, this full length version of the George Lucas masterpiece was created from multiple 15 second segments recreated from the original movie and submitted by thousands of Star Wars fans, which were then spliced together by editor Aaron Valdez to form the final product. Genius, as both a commentary on contemporary pop culture trends (there are references to LEGO, stop motion, memes and the like) and on the power of tapping your audience for quality material.
Filmmaker creates LEGO stop motion to propose to girlfriend
Now, this is one for the ages: back in 2010, Atlanta film-maker Walter Thompson created a jaw-dropping LEGO stop motion to propose to Nealey Dozier, his girlfriend of four years. The video took 22 hours of shooting and some 2,600 pictures to splice together, a small sacrifice to pay for years of happiness together. Right? Right! Oh, and she said yes. Bonus.

The building theme is pretty sweet. It’s the only thing i am good at drawing so I feel like I need to have one(: Oh, and Gnarls Barkley makes me feel groovy! Ha ha.

Well golly gee, because Gnarls Barkely is only one of the finest duos to grace this side of Sunnyville!
Also I’m obsessed enough with them to create artwork based on one of their songs, St. Elsewhere ( http://www.heyitsgarrett.com/work/art/play/01.jpg )

Because I am trapped back in the sceneless hills of Ohio, and news like that would make the inevitable bad news about my taxes that are yet to be done so much milder.

Oh my … because GB have seriously had me and my fella dancing around the kitchen with glee, and because we live in Australia we probably won’t be seeing them anytime soon … Waaah! And we’ve got a new house to lovelify too.

well, my abc wallpaper no longer impresses the ladies. Theres also a huge hole in my wall. I thought it would be fun to bowl blind folded in my room using books and pins. I need to cover the hole.

The doctors told me I have severe Gnarls-Your-Songs-Won’t-Stop-Playing-On-My-IPod-itis and it’s already in the second stages! A few more weeks! *Gasp* After which, I can only resort to viewing all things related to GB! This is the only poster which can help me control my soon-to-be visual addition.
It’s CRAZY!
P.S. And pastels make me feel like everything is going to be better. ![]()

I am staring out at a 80ft mountain of snow which is slowly melting into a sandy/gravel mess. This will eventually flood my parking lot and may trap me in my office for days.
This poster would be infinitely more entertaining to look at than watch snow melt.

No Age are doing something different to the mass of noise-laden, guitar-drum duos canvasing the lo-fi airwaves at the moment. I’m just not sure quite what. Their album, Nouns, is receiving top-rate reviews after sell-out crowds after screaming, obsessive fans. The music is simply massive: a vast landscape of heat haze, somehow both tranquil and manic, punctuated by singer Dean Sprouts backdrop of barely intelligible vocals and Randall’s distorted, archaic sounding drums.
