Joshua Allen Harris
Joshua Allen Harris’ inflatable polar bear has been dropping jaws across the interweb recently. The artist ties the bear, made out of old plastic bags, onto ventilation grates that lead into NYC subway tunnels. At this point, the bear doesn’t look like much, but when a subway goes past, the warm air that rushes out of the vents inflates the plastic animal, making it come to life. This is so simple, yet stunningly conceived and exectuted. [more about Joshua Allen Harris]

I am needing to find Artists over in the States who are doing something different and happy to talk to us about their work for an Arts Documentary. We are on an Art Road trip across the States from LA to New York and we want to meet up with people along the way. If you know someone who is doing something fantastic that we should film, please let me know.
You can check out a TV show we made last year at:
http://www.artlandusa.tv
Please email clare@illuminationsmedia.co.uk with artist names and contact details
Thanks
