The Lost At E Minor forum

Ok, it may be a little tucked away amongst everything else on the site, but we have a forum on Lost At E Minor now. The Discuss tab at the top of the site cleverly hides a sparkling environment where you can interact with other readers and discuss everything from the best and cheapest ways to self-promote to the merits of green design. Check it out and if you’re if the mood, let our readers know what’s on your mind. And no, we don’t need explicit details [wink wink].

Star Wars Uncut: a fully crowdsourced version of Episode IV

The project of creative technologist, Casey Pugh, this full length version of the George Lucas masterpiece was created from multiple 15 second segments recreated from the original movie and submitted by thousands of Star Wars fans, which were then spliced together by editor Aaron Valdez to form the final product. Genius, as both a commentary on contemporary pop culture trends (there are references to LEGO, stop motion, memes and the like) and on the power of tapping your audience for quality material.

Filmmaker creates LEGO stop motion to propose to girlfriend

The video took 22 hours of shooting and some 2,600 pictures to splice together, a small sacrifice to pay for years of happiness together. Right? Right! Oh, and she said yes. Bonus.

Derrick Chinn is turista libre, a ‘free tourist’, not afraid to go in deep into Tijuana and find the hidden gems of the city. No narco warfare. No strolls down hooker row. No donkey shows. No gringo stereotypes.

Down with OCD? Well, well so are we! And, so is this guy, who was nice enough to share some found photos and post them on his Tumblr page.

The slow building melody and delicate folktronica production of London-based James Yuill’s This Sweet Love is the perfect soundtrack to a lazy Sunday morning.
