Angular Momentum is a fun little game which is a little like pinball in that you use your arrow keys to shift a ball’s momentum to propel it through a series of maze-like tubes. Nation’s largest pinball museum to open in Baltimore
People are often skeptical when I tell them Baltimore is one of the best cities in America, mainly because they only know the city via The Wire and John Waters movies. Maybe this will convince them: the country’s largest pinball museum will open in Charm City by the end of the year.
I can’t make it to the Renaissance Festival this year, but this little flash game has been helping me let off some steam with some ‘olde’-fashioned fun. The object of the game is to destroy castles by aiming a catapult. You can even build your own castle!

Whenever I begin to take life too seriously, I head over to Indexed for a little humor treat. Never have math, formulas and graphs been so clever and witty. The creator of the site started it as a way to make fun of some things, sense of others. Somehow her little formula worked. She is now listed in TIME Magazine’s Top Blogs of 2008. And now Jessica Hagy is a published author. Enjoy exploring the inner-workings of her mind. It is simply delightful.
Cloud Control have just unravelled a newly recorded track, Gold Canary, from their forthcoming 2010 album. It’s straight up pastoral Blue Mountains goodness. I actually heard it live earlier this year and it sounded quite rad.
