USS New York
No one should be surprised that the US Navy has used some of the steel from the World Trade Center to build a new state-of-the-art battle ship, but still — WTF? Hurricane Katrina delayed the construction of the USS New York in 2005, but when the 684-foot amphibious assault ship is completed, it will have a crew of 360 sailors and hold 700 combat-ready marines. glad to see the catastrophy of katrina didn’t halt the production of a weapon to inflict more suffering and death.
