It's more about people demanding more from themselves as creators and as viewers or listeners. For example, is this really about making something that feels honest and challenging to me, or is this really about getting more people to like me? Or as the patron, do I like this because it's easy or is this really an experience? The arts could use some more integrity, and so could the patrons.
