The dramatic chipmunk
The dramatic chipmunk, a clip taken from a Japanese kids TV show, is overdubbed with a soundtrack which has also been remixed into half a dozen other variations on the theme. While most things grow tired with repeated viewings, the dramatic chipmunk seems to have a much longer shelf life, even without any nasty artificial preservatives.

Masters of Science Fiction was a series that ran on ABC this summer. It was originally supposed to run for a full season but was trimmed on the executive chopping block to only four episodes and stashed away into the ABC vault while everyone else was blinking. Too bad! It was probably some of the best stuff I’ve seen on regular TV in years. Narrated by Professor Stephen Hawking, and featuring some seriously great writing, it’s hard to understand why something like this gets the boot while other fluff on prime time lives so large. Having been at the vanguard of Bristol’s graffiti scene for some time now, Sickboy has just released his first solo show, Stay Free, in London. The concept is a good one, although slightly reminiscent of his contemporary, Banksy. He’s transformed a Victorian Grade II listed building in East London into a ‘3D creative playground, a la a Charlie and The Chocolate Factory’. What’s more, there’s a golden ticket up for grabs. 1000 keys will be released to visitors, and the person whose key fits the lock will become the new owner of the Factory.

I was initially drawn to Belgium-born Christophe Coppen’s jewellery before discovering that he produces two mens and womens collections each year, consisting not only of jewellery, also of but couture pieces and home accessories.
