Flight of the Conchords
I’ve really gotten into this series on HBO called Flight of the Conchords. It’s about two corky musicians from New Zealand who are trying so hard to break into the music industry in New York. The show combines its cute storylines with ridiculously stupid video clips that are so bad they’re actually good. Well, kinda good anyway.

I knew the song because it had been launched in the UK by The Shadows some ten years earlier, but this blew it away. Africa Bambaataa and Kool Herc and others gave me a new direction.

I also just finished a set of window displays for high-end, Argentine fashion designer, Martin Churba, which opened last week.
