We’ve been following the endlessly creative Dave Werner for some time now, and we’re pretty excited about the launch of his new creative company Minor Studios. Somewhere between work and sleep he’s also managing to produce Carrier Pigeon, a video side-project on design, multimedia and culture. It’s good, have a look.

Oh man, what I wouldn’t give to be able to sing like Neil Finn. His voice rasps with all the sincerity and integrity of a thousand heartfelt melodies. Heck, I’d probably trade my prized collection of Archie comics for just the chorus on this song. Driving Me Mad? You betcha(dupa). This man is a treasure. Bow low indeed.
Grinning Cat is a beautiful electronic album from prodigious Japanese producer, Susumu Yokota. It borrows liberally from the melodic melancholy of classical music and features subtle drum loops throughout. We interviewed him about the artwork that he creates for each release. Read more
