The Police
I’m not exactly a music geek, but I have been obsessed with The Police since their first album. I never had a chance to see them live in their heyday, so seeing them play at Madison Square Garden the other night was my 25 years of dreaming come true. A friend that I went to see them with said that their performance was actually better than it was all those years before. Perhaps they’re wiser. Whatever … it was pure bliss to hear Sting actually be able to hit the high notes — unlike some of his solo concerts.

Dear Japan art event in New York
Come out to a gallery in Soho, New York, on Saturday afternoon and purchase art for your home for a good cause. The one evening event Dear Japan has been organized by a group of Japanese artists who live in New York. It features 170 illustrators and fine artists, and all the works are $200 or under.
