Federico Mammana (aka Freshcore) creates perverted pop design from his base in Cordoba, the second largest city of Argentina. Take a peek at his Flickr page and you’ll appreciate just how effectively his disparate influences such as hip-hop, Hollywood porn, basketball, punk, and Bill Cosby (go figure!) have been morphed into colorful and dynamic lines on walls, windows and party flyers. His neighborhood in General Bustos – where students, workers and even nuns live along drug dealers and bandits – is the kind of environment that feeds his eager, creative mind.
