Alberto Seveso
Italian vector artist and designer Alberto Seveso is phenomenal. His work is intricate and delicate, but still imbued with a raw sensuality and a real sense of grace and style. He told Carpal Tunnel Magazine: ‘My passion for graphics was born about fifteen years ago when I had an Amiga 1200 and Delux Paint that I loved so much. But I switched to PC when a friend showed me the potentials of photoshop. I was astonished when I understood the power of that software’.

Minus the beehive hairdoes, flares, and the big red phone booths, of course. Read more
New Banksy artwork critiques London Olympics, perhaps
That elusive street art urchin (and we mean that in the nicest possible way), Banksy, has struck again in London, with a new artwork mysteriously appearing on the wall of a shop on Whymark Avenue, Turnpike Lane. As is to be expected, the street art sends a subtle social message, though so subtle in this case that Banksy-philes are torn over whether it is criticising the upcoming Olympics, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee or last summer’s riots. Italian-based ADR Studio have created a prototype for the world’s first Instagram photo camera, armed with a duffle bag worth of features, including 16 GB mass storage; Wifi and Bluetooth; an Internal printer to make your Instagram photos real; and paper cartridge with Instagram Paper Sheets. Genius! Well, at least, we think so. They’re currently looking for Indiegogo funding to make it all happen on a far bigger scale. Read more
