Flavours of Lakhoum
Look closely at the froth of this latte and you’ll see a portrait carved out amongst the grains and milk. It’s a truly a work of art and it’s a feature of the coffee served at Richmond, Melbourne cafe Flavours of Lakhoum. Check, please!

The name of the cafe is spelt ‘Flavours of Lakhoum’ for those who might be looking for it along Swan St.

This portrait in a flat white is like the MCA’s current exhibit of political posters in beans … Visual Art of Latin America on now at http://www.mca.com.au

If you order a Spanish Latte from Urth Cafe in Los Angeles you’ll usually get a picture of a swan or duck. It’s really interesting to see the barista kiddos pulling this off cup after cup. It’s an art!

‘Flavours’ is a must for brekkie everytime I visit our culture capital. The food is brilliant and examples of their coffee art line the walls for all to see. Get there early though, as they seem to be good at running out of ingredients!
