The online version of Dazed & Confused magazine, a pop culture juggernaut of epic proportions, has unveiled a new reader judged contest to determine the Top Fifty websites out there at the moment. And while we’re a little chagrined not to have made the shortlist (wink wink), we think it’s a pretty healthy collection all the same. As they say, ‘We’ve plunged into the web’s murky depths, sifting through the dregs of self-obsessed bloggery, blinking GIFs and miasma of MySpace messages, to uncover the 50 individuals and groups behind the most eye-popping, mind-blowing creative endeavours on the web today’. Tattoo artist sued by ex-girlfriend for obscene design
Oh boy, this is so bizarre it could only be true. Apparently a Dayton, Ohio, tattoo artist has been slapped with a $100,000 lawsuit by his ex-girlfriend for tattooing an image of, erm, excrement with flies on her back rather than the scene from Narnia that she had requested. The reason? He’d recently found out that she had been cheating on him with one of his buddies. Damn! And here we were thinking this was the hot new look for trailer park trash crowd.
