Not only do Omaha, Nebraska 5-piece Tilly and the Wall feature a couple of former members of one of Conor Oberst’s early bands, they were also the first group signed to Bright Eyes’ Team Love label, and – get this – they have a tap dancer instead of a drummer! For real. Their latest release, Bottoms of Barrels, is their second studio album and was recorded with Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, M Ward, Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins). We like.

Yeah, saw these guys support CSS with ratatat at the astoria in london. It was rad. I think they started with some song about a chupacobra and we collectively lost it.
It could have been the drinks..
It could have been the hot sweaty crowd pressing in around me..
It could have even been the fluro tights the tap dancer was wearing..
What ever it was it, it was much appreciated.
