It was interesting to listen to the conversation about the hard-done-by psychosis being the engine of Jewish humour. Ricky talked of himself being, in contrast to Larry, a normal, white middle class English man and he wondered therefore what the source of his humour is. I reckon at this point I would have told him the English have a psychosis of their own and that it’s just as powerful as the Jewish and Japanese brands of craziness.

I reckon I’m now going to try to get hold of the US version of The Office. Is this any good?
