cherrywood reminds me of home, the blossoms flowing past my window as i wake in the sun, as most artists “waste your life become an artist ” i have little finace for me, and would very much love to exhibit a piece around my neck at my exhibition in august. it suits me, the pieces relate to my inner creations in which i stamp my concepts with my hands onto cartridge paper. the simplistic design is very much like the illustrations i have been doing of late, focusing on minimalism and what better way to relate myself to my work then showcasing a piece i truly admire.

I’d be more then happy to drop the scarf from around my neck and freeze in the cold this winter if i had one of those necklaces around my neck. Much more interesting then a wheat coloured scarf. My cheeks flushing from all the compliments the necklace would make come my way might work to keep me warm too.

i lack the competitive edge. german breasts and neutered whippets are far too mind boggling to try to one-up. i mean, i’m sure i could easily take out the lame “got wood” jokes, poety lines, and winning free gifts for girlfriends (cheap bastards)… but german breasts and neutered whippets? mind you, i didn’t bother to read past those crucial details in their comments. all i’ve got left is my self pity. i never win anything. if there was a competition that had two prizes to give away, i’d be third on the list. i’m always coming in second place in important competitions. everyone hates me. in the end, it would be neat to finally in my twenty six years on this planet be a winner. i am sure that the winning of this coveted fashion accessory would help restore my faith in humankind. it would be exalted to level of: POWERFUL WOODEN AMULET INFUSED WITH THE MAGICAL POWERS OF WHATEVER FURRY WOODLAND CREATURE THEY SHOULD COME IN THE FORM OF (PWAIWTMPOWFWCTSCITFO for short)– which, i think is one of the nicer compliments that can be paid to the designers.

afterthought, should you be feeling strapped for a boy-winner. let me know, i will take the necessary steps to become one (competitive edge?)…

This necklace is the kind you wear for the rest of your life. A trademark of your personality. Since these necklaces are made from organic material I believe they help connect you back to the earth. In the fast paced world we live in it is good to have that reminder hanging around you neck, keeping you true to your roots and remembering every living thing around you, helping you to become aware of the world and your place in it.

Because I’m still waiting for metallic parachute pants to come back into fashion. WHY hasnt the cycle reached it yet? I dont understand.

And because my boyfriend bought a Limedrop cardigan the other month and then tried to return it because he looked very gay. But he couldnt, so now he’ss pissed. So it has become my duty to show him that limedrop are actually RAD.

I neeeeeeeeed to win a new fashion accessory because I am so broke I can’t justify the expense of purchasing jewelry. I have a 2 year old and a 3 month old and they would just love to see mommy stylin’ and profilin’ in limedrop’s cherry wood. Also, because i want to win something…for a change. Also, because it would make me feel so extra special and because I love the pieces and would wear it faihtfully.

I’d love to win one because I can’t find any accessories I even remotely like in my district and we are seriously starved for unique jewelry. I absolutely love Limedrop’s collections and wish more people would make jewelry from wood. It’s gorgeous.
